Protech Protect Cover - Terms and Conditions

Applicable Plans: Basic, Premium, Diamond

1. Scope of Services

  • Subscription services are provided exclusively by Protech PDR technicians and cover eligible dents and dings on the subscribed vehicle.

  • Services will be carried out using Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) techniques, which restore dents without the need for repainting or traditional bodywork.

    • New Car Plan Subscription: Limited to small, minor dents and dings that are within the parameters and possibilities of Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) which are at the discretion of the repair technician.

2. Subscription Coverage Limitations

The subscription covers most dents and dings but excludes the following:

  • Paint Damage: Cracked, chipped, or damaged paint resulting from the dent or external factors.

  • Extreme Damage: Dents or dings that exceed the repairable size or complexity for PDR (e.g., creased metal, sharp impacts).

  • Vehicle Condition: Pre-existing rust, poor-quality repairs, or other vehicle conditions that impede the effectiveness of PDR.

  • Non-PDR Damage: Any damage that requires conventional bodywork, structural repair, or repainting.

  • Natural Disasters: Damage caused by hailstorms, floods, or similar large-scale events unless explicitly included in the plan.

3. Eligibility and Vehicle Requirements

  • Only the vehicle specified at the time of subscription is eligible for coverage. Subscriptions are non-transferable unless approved by PROTECH PDR PTY LTD.

  • The vehicle/s may be inspected by Protech PDR technicians to confirm its eligibility for the subscription plan.

4. Service Scheduling

  • Repairs are carried out by appointment only. Protech PDR will work with the subscriber to schedule a convenient time and location for service.

  • Subscribers of the Premium and Diamond Plans receive priority scheduling over Basic Plan members.

5. Service Parameters

  • Repairs are subject to technician availability and cannot be guaranteed during peak periods.

6. Exclusions and Additional Costs

  • Repairs requiring parts replacement, paint restoration, or extensive labor beyond PDR techniques are not covered under any plan.

  • Additional Remove & Refit (R&R) charges may incur if necessary in order to gain greater access to the dent during the repair process, only after discussion and agreement between the customer & technician.

  • Subscribers may opt to have excluded damages repaired at their own cost, subject to a separate agreement.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Subscriptions may be canceled at any time; however, refunds for unused portions of the subscription period are not guaranteed unless required by law.

  • Protech PDR reserves the right to cancel a subscription if the terms of service are violated or the vehicle is deemed ineligible for continued service.

  • Early cancelation fee of $250.00 will be charged if you decide to cancel membership with 3 months of subscription.

8. Member Responsibilities

  • Subscribers must ensure that the vehicle is clean and accessible for technicians at the time of repair.

  • Members must report damage promptly and within the subscription term to remain eligible for coverage.

  • Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in delays or denial of service.

9. Liability

  • Protech PDR is not liable for damages or loss resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including acts of nature, theft, or accidents unrelated to the PDR service.

  • Protech PDR technicians will take reasonable care to protect the vehicle during service but cannot guarantee the resolution of all damages if pre-existing conditions limit PDR effectiveness.

10. Modification of Terms

  • Protech PDR reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Subscribers will be notified of significant changes.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved under the applicable jurisdiction.
